Sunday School
“Jesus called the children to him and said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.’” -Luke 18:16
When Jesus called the children to him, it was a radical notion that children should be spoken to by someone as important as Jesus. We know that God’s love and salvation belongs to ALL-regardless of age-and we love to engage our children in the Word of God.
Each week, we have Children’s Time during the worship service and all children are invited to the front of a the sanctuary for a brief message and blessing. After Children’s Time, children ages 3 years through 10th grade are invited to Sunday School for the remainder of the worship service.
Our wonderful Sunday School teachers lead the children in engaging lessons and activities to bring the Bible teachings alive and make them relevant for kids!
Throughout the year, the Sunday School children prepare and share pageants and celebrations with the congregation during the church service.
